My Story – Why I Built jsontotable.net
As a developer, I work with JSON constantly—API responses, server logs, AI outputs, configuration files.
And like many of you, I often needed to quickly turn JSON into a clean table for debugging, analysis, or sharing.
I tried the existing tools, including jsontotable.org—and they worked.
But something kept bothering me:
> Many developer tools feel purely functional—useful, yes, but not enjoyable.
The interfaces were plain.
The experience felt mechanical.
There was no sense of design, clarity, or care.
So I asked myself:
Why can’t developer tools be both powerful and beautiful?
We spend hours every day using tools.
They shape how we think, how we work, even how we feel while working.
If a tool can reduce friction and look good doing it, that matters.
So I built jsontotable.net with a different intention:
- A clean, modern interface — something that’s pleasant to use.
- Runs entirely in the browser — your data stays on your device.
- Handles complex, nested JSON — because real-world data is never simple.
- Instant export to CSV, Excel, Markdown, and PDF — to fit real workflows.
No sign-up walls.
No “Pro” button blinking in the corner.
Just a tool made with care.
Over time, I’ve received messages from developers, analysts, data journalists, and students saying:
> “This helped me today. Thank you.”
That means more to me than metrics or traffic ever could.
